Descrição completa
The speaker examines the biblical and theological significance of the Sabbath (Saturday) as the sign of the covenant between God and the Israelites. Drawing from scripture, the talk explains how the Sabbath represents liberation from tyranny, a day of rest mandated by God, and a test of faith that extends beyond mere ritual to encompass spiritual obedience. Connecting Islamic traditions with biblical narratives, the lecture highlights narrations from Imam Al-Sadiq and Imam Al-Baqir identifying Saturday as the day belonging to the Prophet Muhammad and his household. It details the prophetic timing of the Qa'im's emergence on a Saturday during Ashura, drawing parallels between the Exodus, the sacrifice of Imam Hussein, and the future establishment of divine justice. The presentation delves into esoteric interpretations, describing the Sabbath as an embodied reality found in the living 'Veil' of God in every age. It concludes by announcing the obligation for the Ansar of Imam Al-Mahdi to observe the Sabbath, reclaiming it as a symbol of true monotheism and allegiance to the divinely appointed authority, while warning against cursing this inherited prophetic tradition.
