مکمل تفصیل
In this enlightening session, Abdullah Hashem Aba al-Sadiq addresses a wide range of practical questions from the Ansar regarding Sabbath observance. Believers ask about working on Saturdays, using mobile phones, driving, attending sports events, and handling household appliances like fridges and heaters. The discussion also covers specific scenarios such as eating food cooked by non-believers, smoking, showering, and the permissibility of voice chats or watching religious videos. The core message delivered is a warning against focusing solely on minute technicalities while neglecting the spiritual essence of the Sabbath. Referencing Imam Ahmad al-Hassan, the speaker explains that the Sabbath commemorates God's supremacy, the rescue of the Israelites from Egypt, and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein. It is fundamentally a day to remain mentally and spiritually ready for the rise of the Qa'im. Believers are instructed to treat every Sabbath as a potential day of victory, abandoning worldly occupations and pleasures to stand by with their 'staff or sword.' Practical rulings suggest that leaving lights, fridges, and heaters on is permissible since these are insignificant compared to the duty of spiritual readiness. The talk concludes with a reflection on the parable of the wise and foolish virgins, urging the community to stay awake and prepared for the bridegroom's arrival on this holy day.
