A question is raised regarding the permissibility of greeting relatives and neighbors during their religious occasions, such as Eid al-Fitr, due to social obligations and the desire to maintain family ties. The response clarifies that there is no issue with offering congratulations or showing sympathy during these rituals. It is considered an act of good morals and manners to interact kindly with fellow human beings regardless of their specific beliefs. Even if the celebrations occur at times or in ways considered incorrect by the faith, the sincerity of the individuals celebrating should be respected. The core message emphasizes maintaining high ethical standards in all social interactions with mankind.
