We are excited to announce that the award for the Best International Book on Religion 2025 was presented at the Turin International Book Fair (the second largest book fair in Europe) to the Qaim of the Family of Muhammad Aba Al-Sadiq (pbuh) Abdullah Hashem as author of the gospel of the faith “The Goal of the Wise.” Accepting the award on the Qaim’s behalf is Hadil El-Khouly, his representative and Arabic co-editor of the book. Professor Aria Razfar, Professor of Education and Linguistics at the University of Illinois, Chicago, has also been awarded as editor of the English edition of the book. The yearly award is given by the interfaith committee Fedinsieme (Faith Together) with the support and sponsorship of the State of Piedmont and the Turin International Book Fair. The ceremony was held at the book fair premises in Turin, Italy and was attended by various scholars, academics, representatives of the State of Piedmont and the general public. A separate session on the Goal of the Wise was also held at the ISEF, (the institute for physical education) introducing the content of the book and the main tenets of the faith, as well as the stories of persecution endured by members of the faith worldwide. Attending the event was Domenico Garcea, senior Vice President of Turin City Council and Laura Pompeo, State legislator, State of Piedmont, as well representatives of Fedinsieme, Dr. Massimo Introvigne of CESNUR, the centre of the studies for new religions, as well as different representatives of various religions.
