The speaker responds to a question regarding the widespread phenomenon in Iraq of sons throwing their elderly parents onto the streets. The response categorically condemns this behavior as disgusting, despicable, and an abomination rejected by all prophets and messengers. Historical context is provided from the Sharia of Moses, where raising a hand against parents was punishable by death, emphasizing the extreme sanctity of parents in divine law. Drawing on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ahmed Alhasan, the talk highlights that mistreating parents is among the deadliest sins. The speaker explains the principle of karmic vengeance, stating that those who abuse their parents will inevitably suffer the same fate at the hands of their own children. This divine law is compared to other unavoidable consequences for sins like murder and fornication. Finally, the video clarifies the duties of a believer towards their parents. Even if parents disagree with the Dawa or disbelieve, children are commanded to treat them with kindness and respect in all worldly matters. However, obedience to parents does not extend to religious issues; one must not obey them if they demand cutting ties with the truth or the Imam, prioritizing spiritual allegiance while maintaining familial care.
