Vollständige Beschreibung
In this segment, a question from Akbar regarding the Seventh Covenant is answered. The inquiry focuses on the permissibility of crafting talismans for protection and learning about 'white magic' to combat evil sorcerers. The response clarifies that talismans are not forbidden and have been used across various cultures and religions, including Jewish tradition and Islam. Specific references are made to narrations from Prophet Muhammad and the Imams detailing talismans written on paper, deer skin, or carved into rings for protection and sustenance. A key distinction is drawn between knowledge and action: learning about magic, even black magic, is not inherently haram unless used to harm or manipulate others. The speaker compares this to using a cell phone, which is lawful until used for prohibited content. While authentic sources like The Picatrix and Shams al-Ma'arif are mentioned, along with practitioners in India and Morocco, the primary advice is to prioritize learning the Dawa, monotheism, and the teachings of the Imam of the Time over esoteric studies.
