777 wordsThe Call of Jesus In the beginning of the Gospels, the disciples of Jesus Christ are establishing the fact that the call of Jesus is a true call. And while they are trying to do so, they quote prophecies on the tongues of prophets in the Old Testament that were fulfilled in the time of Jesus, in particular right before the public appearance of Jesus Christ, in order that they may prove that this call is a true call. In Luke chapter 3 it states, "A voice of one calling in the wilderness : Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him." "Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low," "The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth, and all people will see God's salvation." So essentially, what were the disciples saying ? They were saying that The Prophet Isaiah had given a prophecy. And the prophecy would be concerning a man who would be preaching from the wilderness. And they said that right before Jesus' call, indeed there was a man who was prophesying in the wilderness. And that man was John the Baptist. Therefore, John the Baptist fulfilled the words and the prophecy of Isaiah. And since John the Baptist fulfilled the prophecy o…

f Isaiah, then Isaiah was prophesying about the time of the appearance of Jesus Christ. And therefore, the call of Jesus Christ is a true call from God.
We find that in this call the same thing happened in 2015. Before 2015 and for decades, the non-scholars of Shia Islam, the Muslim scholars, had been talking about a particular prophecy that described the time of the appearance of Imam al-Mahdi, just as Isaiah was describing the time of the appearance of the Messiah.
In the Hadith it says, the Prophet Muhammad said, "There shall rule Al-Hijaz. Al-Hijaz is the area where the Ka'ba is, a man whose name is the same name as the name of an animal." "He shall be succeeded by his brother whose name is Abdullah." "If you see this man from afar," meaning the man whose name is the name of an animal, "you'd think that he was cross-eyed.
But if you walk up to him and are close to him, you won't see in his eyes anything. Woe to our Shia from him !" And he repeats this three times. "Give me glad tidings of this man's death and I shall give you the glad tidings of the appearance of the Hajj." The Shia scholars would say that this prophecy was actually fulfilled because the events on the ground were matching it.
There was indeed a man who ruled Al-Hijaz whose name was the same name as an animal, and that was King Fahd. Fahd means leopard. The Prophet said, "And indeed, he was succeeded by his brother, whose name is Abdullah." And indeed, if you saw King Fahd from afar, you would think that he was cross-eyed.
But when people approached him, they didn't see anything in his eyes. And King Abdullah was notorious for being anti-Shia. Hence the Prophet said, "Woe to my Shia from him !" Thrice. So then came the fateful night where the prophecy was finally fulfilled in the death of King Abdullah on January 23rd, 2015.
And on that night, the disciples of Imam Ahmad al-Hassan, the disciples of Imam al-Mahdi, were the only ones who came forth, and till this very day are the only ones who came forth, and they proclaimed the fulfillment of the prophecy and gave the glad tidings of the appearance of Imam al-Mahdi to them and to Imam Ahmad al-Hassan, and thus they claimed the fulfillment of the prophecy that was mentioned on the tongue of the Prophet Muhammad.
Thus declaring that this call was a true call from God in the same manner and in the same fashion that the disciples of Jesus used the words of Isaiah and its fulfillment in the person of John the Baptist as a sign and a proof that the call of Jesus Christ was a true call, and it's one of the most fascinating proofs of this entire call. I remember, you know, people talking about how important the raising of the banner was and the death of King Abdullah, and that people are going to accept the prophecy of Isaiah, which, I mean, I feel almost spiritually wrong to say, but it was very vague.
No, it's extremely vague in comparison to the prophecy of the Prophet Muhammad (God's prayers and peace be upon him). You and Ahmad al-Hassan being the only ones to claim the will.
