Full description
The speaker examines the development of religious law across history, starting with the covenants of Adam and Noah. He contrasts the written and oral traditions in Judaism (Torah, Talmud) and Christianity (Canon Law, Councils) with Islamic Sharia and Fiqh, noting how each faith relies on scholars who claim divine inspiration yet often disagree. A critical analysis is presented regarding the seven Noahide laws, distinguishing between direct divine commands and rabbinic interpretations. The discussion emphasizes scriptural warnings about the corruption of texts by scribes and the distortion of God's word through human tradition, citing evidence from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Quran. Finally, the talk connects these historical laws to the mission of the Qa'im and Imam Mahdi, who will judge people by their own scriptures (Torah, Gospel, Quran). The session concludes with an announcement of upcoming classes taught by Brother Harun, a former Torah teacher, to explore Mosaic Law and its application in the current era.
