Full description
The speaker identifies the mysterious figures in Surah Yasin as the disciples of Jesus Christ who were dispatched to the city of Antioch. This event is linked to a specific historical trial mentioned in the book of Galatians involving the early Christian community. The narrative describes how Paul traveled to Antioch to confront messengers who taught that new believers must adhere to Jewish laws, including circumcision. The speaker asserts that Jesus did not abrogate these Torah laws, contrasting this with Paul's claim of being the supreme apostle to the Gentiles. God supported the original disciples by sending Simon Peter, the vicegerent of Jesus Christ. The talk highlights the severe confrontation between Peter and Paul, where Paul rejected Peter's authority and accused him of falsehood, despite Peter's divinely appointed status according to narrations from the Ahl al-Bayt.
