Description complète
The speaker challenges the mainstream Muslim belief that the Quran has remained textually unchanged since its revelation. Citing verses from the Torah, Gospels, and the Quran itself, the talk argues that previous scriptures were corrupted and that Islamic traditions confirm the same fate befell the current Quranic text. Extensive references are made to Sunni and Shia hadith collections, including reports from companions like Ibn Omar and Aisha, as well as Imams such as Ali, Al-Sadiq, and Al-Baqir. These narrations allege missing verses, altered chapters, and the removal of explicit mentions of the Ahl al-Bayt and their enemies by early caliphs. The presentation concludes by explaining the concept of the Quran's inner (batin) and outer (zahir) layers. It posits that while the physical text was tampered with, the true message remains safeguarded within coded language and allegories, accessible only through the guidance of the infallible Imams and the Mahdi.
