مکمل تفصیل
In this talk, Abdullah Hashem Aba al-Sadiq addresses the question of why he and his community wear black hats instead of traditional turbans. He begins by tracing the history of head coverings in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, noting that while the Prophet Muhammad and his companions wore turbans as a sign of Arab honor, the practice has evolved in modern times. He explains that the turban has become associated with non-working scholars who use it to distinguish themselves from the public, a practice he describes as hypocritical and contrary to the teachings of the Prophet regarding the scholars of the end times. To avoid confusion with these figures and to reject the idea of attaining a special status in society, the community chooses a different attire. The black hat, or beanie, is presented as a symbol of the working man and the poor. Originally invented to keep laborers warm while working for minimum wage, it represents humility and solidarity with the common people. Wearing it serves as a reminder that God is above all and keeps the wearer grounded as one of the people rather than elevated above them. This video is intended for those seeking to understand the symbolism behind the community's attire and the theological reasoning for rejecting the traditional scholar's turban in favor of a garment that represents the working class.
